Recurring billing is applied to all subscriptions as was noted on the page where you originally signed up for the service and we apologize if there was any confusion about this.

This policy was implemented primarily from customer feedback we received. Most people these days expect their subscriptions to renew so that they don't lapse. Also, customers on recurring billing can usually renew at the same or lower price year after year, as you have (if the price increases the customer would have to be notified in advance). As was noted when you subscribed, if anyone chooses to cancel they just do so by informing us when the new charge goes through (you always have 30 days after the charge has gone through to get a full refund) or at any time prior.

Your refund has been processed. Please allow a few days for it to be reflected in your account. Your subscription has been cancelled and no further payments should be taken from your card. 

Having said that, your account for the summaries you receive during your past and current subscriptions will stay available to you to the end of your subscription and for one month after your subscription expires, so please save any summaries that you may want to reference at a later date.
