Frequently Asked Questions...

What’s a summary?

A summary is a concise synopsis of a business book that delivers the author’s main ideas, strategies and insights.

Our summaries are approximately 3,500 words in length (5-7 pages) and typically take 15-20 minutes to read.  (It takes 10 to 20 hours it takes to read an entire book.)

The audio summaries take about 20 minutes to listen to and the animated video summaries range from 3 – 5 minutes.

Why 5-7 pages?

Anything less isn't enough to really give you a good understanding of the big ideas, concepts and strategies from a great book.

Anything longer would just add to your workload … and that’s not what you’re looking for.

What’s your return policy?

If you're not completely satisfied with our service, we offer a full refund within 30 days of purchase.

Why video summaries?

Aren't text and audio formats enough?   Yes they are ... but videos are fun to watch and you'll be amazed at just how much you can learn with the combination of the spoken word and imagery.  Plus you remember more of what you learn with videos.

Do some people still read the entire book, even after reading the book summary?

Yes.  Many of our subscribers use the summaries as a screen to find interesting books.

How do you select the books to be summarized?

We select only the very best business books.  Each one is either a best-seller, highly acclaimed or has received excellent reviews.  We don't summarize huge numbers of books, we just select the cream of the crop.

Our comprehensive internal review process also takes into account the subject matter of each book, including whether or not it covers new ground and provides fresh insights for our readers.

We also consider and appreciate suggestions made by our subscribers.

How do authors feel about having their books summarized?

Every year thousands of business books are released and many great books don't get the attention they deserve.

Our summaries offer exposure for great books and showcase the author's big ideas and insights.

Also, people often buy the book based on the strength of the summary.
